Human cardiac cells are derived from whole hearts that have been dissociated into single cells and frozen. Human cardiac cells are from a single donor. These cells enable researchers to produce various cell types found in the cardiovascular system with standard published protocols. Human cardiac cells may be used for various types of in vitro, in vivo, or transplantation studies into normal or diseased systems. In addition, they may be used in cardiovascular developmental studies.
