Human neural cells are derived from whole brain that is quickly dissociated into single cells and frozen. Human neural cells are from a single donor. These cells express nestin and sox 2. Human neural cells enable researchers to produce various cell types found in the central nervous system with standard published protocols. Human neural cells may be used for various types of in vitro, in vivo, or transplantation studies into normal or diseased systems. In addition, they may be used in central nervous system developmental studies.
