Rat Cardiac Myocytes (ABC-TC4110)
The cardiac myocyte is the most physically energetic cell in the body. Its contraction is myogenic, i.e. it is independent of nervous stimulation. All cardiac myocytes are capable of spontaneous rhythmic depolarization.
