The antiserum demonstrates strongly positive labeling of rat retina and leptomeninges using indirect immunofluorescent and biotin\/avidin-HRP techniques.   Recommended primary dilutions are 1\/100-1\/200 in PBS\/0.3% Triton X-100\u00c2 &#8211; Cy3 Technique and 1\/500 &#8211; 1\/1,000 in PBS\/0.3% Triton X-100 &#8211; biotin\/avidin-HRP Technique. The antiserum has been characterized as specific to GAT-2; please see references listed below.
